West Side Story at the State Fair Oct 4th – 23rd
Dallas Summer Musicals brings the American retelling of Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story, to the State Fair. Fried Foods, Football Fun, Sharks, Jets and of course unforgettable Love will all be out and about during the nearly 3 week run of WSS. The production will be the last for DSM in 2011. "Daniel Day Lewis as James Hook" – JV Hart DALLAS IFF Q & A
The closing weekend of The Dallas IFF showcased the 20th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s classic film, Hook. Texan Jim V. Hart not only wrote the story of a grown up Peter Pan, but he’s created a whole Peter Pan/James Hook Universe for my generation. The DALLAS International Film Festival presented by Cadillac (March 31 – April 10, 2011) announced today that highly respected screenwriter and Fort-Worth Native, James V. Hart and talented and versatile writer, actor and producer L.M. Kit Carson will both be in attendance at the upcoming festival.
