Air Review: First Listen

We’ve long been fans of Dallas’ Air Review and their brand of anthemic rock-pop. They’ve spent most of the time since their fantastic debut LP, Landmarks, in the recording studio. One of the most ambitious bands in the area are now readying a new EP for release in the Fall, and they’re previewing it online.

LAST WEEKEND: Pete Yorn/Ben Kweller at The Granada


Pete Yorn supplied the soundtrack to most of my college experience. musicforthemorningafter is easily one of my favorite records of the past 10 years and a real tough act to follow. But since then, Pete has put out five solid records, including the one with Scarlett Johansson (which I happened to like). That said, it has been years since the last time I’ve seen him live and I was pretty stoked.
