But don’t tell that to Fort Worth‘s Quaker City Night Hawks, whose debut album, ¡Torquila Torquila!, is clearly from another time—a time when there was nothing better than a drive down a dusty road with a cigarette in your mouth, the top off your Firebird Trans Am and Creedence Clearwater Revival on the radio.
Congrats on another successful 35 Conferette (formerly NX35). This year saw the fest finally realized as a walkable event with two well placed outdoor stages just off the Square. I was only there for the first two days, but I made the most of it. So many highlights. So many PBRs. So very Denton.
