Words by Kara Brock
For the past six years, Dallas has been ushering in spring with the finest independent films. But it’s not just the late night screenings and concession stand dinners that have caused all Dallas movie lovers to make their bosses shake their heads when they stroll in late to work, coffee in hand, and desperately in need of a nap. Don’t get me wrong, the films are great but in the words of the great R. Kelly “after the show is the after party and after the party it’s the hotel lobby.” These words rang true once again after last night’s opening night screening and gala. The votes are in and students from six North Texas schools will be walking the red carpet and mingling with the stars during the DALLAS International Film Festival. Here they are.
