XSR: DIE! at the Eisemann Center thru January 20th and then a run at MCL Grand Theater in Lewisville from January 26th thru January 29th. The Living Black & White™ play revolves around the sleuthing skills (or lack there of) of Kurt Kleinmann’s iconic Harry Hunsacker and his loyal assistant Nigel Grouse (Ben Bryant). We’ll have more about XSR: DIE! in our interview post with Kurt and Director Michael Serrecchia, in the mean time here are some more January must see events to add to your Calendar.

Last Night’s Tony Awards showcased the beauty, brilliance and ballsy history behind our Theatrical world. As Book of Mormon backed up its 14 nominations with 9 “WINS!” it harped back to this last decade’s record setting productions. Mel Brook’s amazing THE PRODUCERS is the all-time Tony Award winning Musical with 12 taken home in 2001. It shares the total nomination title (15 total) with the musical who’s currently playing RIGHT HERE IN DALLAS, Billy Elliot.

Wonderful Winspear's End of February Shows
This past Wednesday evening, Ocean expert Jean-Michel Cousteau celebrated his father’s legacy and showcased the beauty of our oceans. A packed Winspear crowd listened to stories of the Cousteau family and learned that our oceans still need our help. Also we’ll preview Saturday’s showcase of the Grammy Award winning group, The Chieftains.
