This past weekend Academy Nicholl Fellow James DiLapo’s script “Devils at Play” was giving the staged reading treatment at the Crowley Theater in Marfa, Tx. Click thru for my travel pictures and a review of the future film.
The Dallas International Film Festival 2013 introduced me to the wonderful work being made by New Zealand film production outfit, Candlelit Pictures. The film was part of Shorts Program 1 and had a beautiful grittiness that I couldn’t get out of my mind. I reached out to Producer Alix Whittaker to learn more about the Auckland film outfit.
