The 2012 Dallas International Film Festival is just 1 of many fun reasons why you should be out and about in Dallas during April.
April 12-22nd = Dallas Awesome time with the 6th annual DIFF!!! We’ll be getting much more in depth in the next 10 days with our, “Countdown to DIFF” series starting this week!!!
So lets jump to the some other fine things you should put on your calender.

Sticking the Dallas Arts District and next door to the DMA is the Nasher Sculpture Center.
The fine folks over at the Nasher have been busy lately with artists Trenton Doyle Hancock and Nick Cave making this past weekend an amazing time. They continue their enlightening Salon Series with the actress and activist Isabella Rosselini.
Switching over to the big red building that is the Winspear. Get ready for MODERN FAMILY!!
Just ad the face of co-creator Steve Leviathan and April 24th is going to be a pretty fun evening!!
Tigers Be Still is at the Wyly thru May 13th and this four person ensemble piece really shines through all the pain. Other fun productions to keep an eye on!
Second Thought Theatre‘s production of The Midwest Trilogy by Eric Steele is directed by Lee Trull. The play is preceded by two of Eric’s short films, TOPEKA and CORK’S CATTLEBARON. Then the wonderful Barry Nash takes you on a wild journey of loss and discovery in the play that ends the trilogy. Check out Barry Nash’s rehearsal/performance blog: A Remarkable Tale.
Oral Fixations is a wonderful showcase for those that are bold enough to present there material. Nicole works hand in hand with the talent you’ll see. Up next April 17, 2012- “Have a Field Day”!!!
Defending the Caveman with John Venable officially takes over April 4th thru the 14th at the Contemporary Theater of Dallas. Who’s going to join me in welcoming John to the DTC family?
Staying on the stage but heading over to Music Hall at Fair Park it’s time for George Hamilton to make us laugh till we cry.
