A Quilt to remember those that have passed and to educate generations to come. Help C.U.R.E 2011 bring the world’s largest display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt in 15 years to Dallas, Texas.

“It’s the 30th anniversary of the day they discovered AIDS on Sunday (June 5). In recognition of the anniversary, Texas non-profit C.U.R.E is launching a $30 for 30 years fundraising campaign to help bring in the largest display in 15 years of the AIDS Memorial Quilt to Dallas for a 3-day national event at the end of September (it will be the largest ever display in the South) called C.U.R.E 2011. For $30 people can adopt one of the panels from the Quilt and be recognized in the Hall of Fame alongside the Quilt.”
Here is an example of what the Quilts looked like at the Washington Monument.
People can make a difference.
“Founded in 2008, C.U.R.E is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to commemorating World AIDS Day through the display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. C.U.R.E. stands for Community, Unity, Respect, Education. ”
