AT&T PAC Patio Session – Cary Pierce and Tiger Darrow

Every Thursday, 5:30pm to 7:30pm, thru the end of June FREE Patio Sessions, with talented musicians and bands, will take over the AT&T Performing Arts Patio right next to the Winspear Opera House.  Yesterday was the third 2011 session with Cary Pierce and a PSD favorite Tiger Darrow.  Video and Pics of the Session after the jump.

The event is sponsored by those lovable folks (Pistol Pete and the Gang) at the Dallas Observer’s Music blog DC9 AT NIGHT.  In fact check out the awesome photos by Alex Scott from the event, here.

Lets check in with the talented Tiger Darrow.

There was a snippet of Tiger and her Uncle.  Here is the duo playing the end to ‘Thinking Bout You’.

A little shout out, you caught a glimpse of Alex taking pics.  Our friend Tiger is mere days away from being a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School.  At ol’ Booker she’s a Cello major and here she is playing the Nancy Sinatra classic, “These Boots are Made for Walking”.

After Tiger finished her set, Cary Pierce jumped on stage and electrified the Patio crowd with a little reggae, some Jackopierce tunes and some of his own fun stuff.

Ok more from Cary Here!

And to end things how about a little fun with Tiger.

Don’t worry Cary got a nice little dig at Tiger when he ended his set by thanking his pal Tiger for “dancing her white girl moves in the background of his song”.  Anyways its my goal to have more of these “lip sync” moments with the future Patio Sessions.  I’m going to get either Salim or Nicholas to venture on down next Thursday and lovable Jencey from Smile Smile in two Thursdays!  Fingers Crossed (if i’m wrong then let the Rapture come – o wait, are we there yet?)
